absolutely loved staying at stone house hotel! it was super close to where we were goin for a wedding which was a huge plus. the room (classic double) was comfy and spacious, and the staff were really friendly and attentive. breakfast was delish and hot! overall, a really relaxing stay.
only downside was some noise from outside and the pillows were a bit too flat for my liking. maybe they need new ones or somethin?

The historical charm of the building shines through in its elegant decor, providing a unique atmosphere. the tranquil gardens around the property create a peaceful retreat, ideal for relaxation.
The layout of the property can be frustrating, especially with the two distinct styles of accommodation. The gym facilities are located awkwardly near the reception, making it uncomfortable to work out. the pool was not heated adequately during my stay as I was looking forward to a refreshing dip. Lastly, I encountered issues with room temperature as the water in the showers was scalding even at its coolest, raising concerns about safety for less mobile guests.

Great staff, but breakfast needs work
The staff were super friendly and the room was clean, which was just what we needed after a tough couple of days. We had a nice evening meal, but breakfast was a letdown. There wasn't much left when we got there, and it took ages to get anything. Would stay again, but hope breakfast improves!

The room felt comfortable and clean. Spacious family room with a big bed. Loved the lovely shower and nice bathroom amenities. It was great having free parking available. A little hassle with the room's temperature, though. It got pretty warm at night, which made sleeping a bit of a challenge. Not the best layout for accessing the room. it took me through a maze of corridors. the leisure facilities left a lot to be desired. They looked poorly maintained and not what I anticipated. a pretty decent stay, just needed smoothing out in a few areas.

The Indian fare was top-notch and hit the spot, with a price tag that didn't break the bank. Plus, I scored a garden room—how lush is that? Oh, and don’t get me started on the breakfast spread. it was genuinely banging!
Bit of a letdown with the noise from the bar—some chaps were having a right laugh, but not in a good way. The gym setup was a no-go. too cramped and not what I hoped for.

Nice bar atmosphere but room cleanliness needs attention
The bar area offered a lovely vibe, and the staff were friendly and helpful even during a busy wedding event. my room felt a bit neglected, with cleanliness issues that could have easily been avoided, like hair in the bathroom and a dusty teapot. It would really enhance the experience if the housekeeping was more attentive.
